AN66 UTOPIA (Anchor) "Notice to Cabin Passengers" Announces the sailing to NY on 3rd Oct (1874). Advises that passengers will take the train from Dunlop Station to Greencock, where a tender will wait to bring them aboard. Card measures 3x4.5". Also has original envelope with "Henderson Brothers Glasgow" Embossed on the back and the passenger name "Rev. Mr. Collins" written on it. The year is not printed on, but it arrived with other memorabilia from this same liner for the Oct 3 1874 sailing. This liner sailed from 1874 until 1891 where she sank, in 5 minutes, in the Bay of Gibraltar with the loss of 563 lives. The card is in excellent condition. $50.00
